Altit Fort is also located near Karimabad, situated in the Altit village of Karimabad town, to be precise. There are many Buddhist pilgrimage sites in the Himalayas. 3000 inscriptions and more than 30000 Petroglyphs were reportedly found along the Karakoram Highway in 1986. (KKH). Chilas is regarded as one of the most fascinating locations to study inscriptions and Petroglyphs. Kayaking is the best thing to do in Hunza if you’re bored by the usual stuff to do in Hunza. Kayaking is a great way to see the stunning lakes, rivers, and canyons of the region. Borith lake is also a place to visit in Hunza.  Borith is merely a hamlet that surrounds the Borith Lake and is located northwest of Husseini, a village in the upper Hunza region close to Ghulkin, Gojal. Borith is located around 2,600 metres (8,500 ft) above sea level. This lake however is very small and used to be a huge lake in the past. Now it’s just a small water body which is rich with sulphur and other minerals. Hiking and exploring Batura Glacier:

Batura Glacier is located in Gojal region. It is one of the most amazing glaciers that you can explore in the region. It is not very difficult to trek like K-2 or Nanga Parbat. You can easily get to the end of the glacier in 4 to 5 days’ journey. but in order to do that, make sure your equipment is in good condition before beginning your trek because it will take a while to cross the glacier and arrive at the first rest camp. Consider the fundamental camping requirements such as tents, sleeping bags, food, and etc. One can always employ native porters who can lift up to 20 to 25 kg of weight.

To get to Yashpirth, where you may locate shepherd huts and other local settlements to stay for the night, it takes almost 9 to 10 hours. The next morning, you may go on trekking for around 6 to 7 hours to reach Guchesham, where you can spend the night amidst stunning peaks and glaciers. The last trip, which takes 4 to 5 hours, ends in Lupdor, the terminus of the Batura Glacier, the next morning. You can return to Passu village after a day’s worth of hiking to Yashpirth, resting there overnight.
